Finally!

System Of A Down performed at Nova Rock in front of about 100,000 fans here in Austria. The show, songs and SOAD were amazing, they even sang in Armenian!!! Please see the pics & videos of the concert...

Dear Hay Fanats,
Day 3 at Nova Rock. System of a Down is going to perform tonight at the red stage here at Nova Rock in Nickelsdorf, Austria. We are looking forward to their comeback. Here you can see our first impressions from the festival. We have found a lot of SOAD fans out here, who can't wait to finally see them performing again together after several years.

For all rock fans, there are pics of the band ADEPT, who were rocking the red stage at 13:45, where some hours later SOAD will finally perform!!!

In connection with SOAD appearing at Nova Rock, HayFanat digged into the history of the festival to find out if any other Armenian rock band or System Of A Down itself participated in Nova Rock in the past.

We found out that in 2005, the year Nova Rock has been organized the first time, System Of A Down performed there. After this, 2011 is the first time SOAD will be performing at Nova Rock again. A lot of fans are waiting for their comeback concert in Nickelsdorf. Be there or stay tuned for more...

It is now official!! The Armenian-American popular rock band System Of A Down announced their comeback in 2011. Along with the other venues, System Of A Down will also be performing at the Nova Rock Festival (click here to read more about this festival) in Austria and HayFanat.com will be reporting live from there.

The Nova Rock Festival or just Nova Rock is a rock music festival that exists since 2005 and takes place every year in June. It's Austria's biggest and one of the largest rock festivals in Europe. This event takes place each year in Nickelsdorf, Austria and is organized by Nova Music Entertainment.

Nova Rock is being visited by thousands of fans. In 2006 over 150,000 visited this event with an average of 30,000 per day. Artists and bands such as Marilyn Manson, Linkin Park, Green Day, Die Ärzte, Metallica or Slipknot have all performed during Nova Rock Festival.
